The Roadrunner Volleyball team continued its fast start to the Fall 2025 season -- and not surprisingly, everyone is contributing!
In a tri-match hosted by Montgomery County College (PA), the Runners edged Bergen CC, 3-2, in a thriller, before disposing of Montgomery, 3-0.
The pair of triumphs extended the RCSJ win streak to six as the team raised its overall record to a solid 6-1.
Those players turning in solid efforts included:
* Keira Rosner, who recorded 14 kills vs. Bergen; Marissa Van Atter, who dished out 30 assists on the afternoon;
* Kenzie Simpson, who collected 12 aces and 35 digs vs. Bergen;
* Brooklyn Eiserman, who chipped in with a high of 20 kills and 36 digs against Bergen; and
* Elizabeth Mathis, who had an amazing 60 digs vs. the Bulldogs in the first match.
Coach Samantha Bevilacqua was especially appreciative of the efforts turned in by Simpson, a libero.
"Kenzie was loud, energetic, and played smart, picking up her teammates when needed," commented the RCSJ coach.
Next up for the Runners will be a home match vs. Manor College Sept. 24, in a 6 pm start at the Roadrunner Athletic Center.
