NJCAA Division III National Golf Championship Meet: Ciesielka, Roadrunner Men's Squad Look for Strong Finish on Final Day!
May 31, 2026Roadrunner Men's Golf has put itself in a position to finish in the top five nationally in the NJCAA Division III National Championship Meet at Chautaqua, NY Golf Course -- and it could happen with a strong showing on the final day of competition. The Runners, fueled by solid outings in the first three rounds by freshmen Jamie Ciesielka and Cole Geatens along with sophomore Julian Boyer, currently sit in fifth place with 308 points, just 3 strokes ahead of sixth place SUNY Niagara (311). Ciesielka registered an even par 72 in round three Thursday, the top round from an RCSJ golfer in the national meet under Roadrunner Coach Guy Davidson. Cole Geatens checked in with a 76 followed by Boyer at 79, and Brady Geatens at 81. The top five teams are Sandhills, DuPage, Delta, Georgia Military and RCSJ respectively. In the women's competition, freshman Brynn DiGiamberardino leads all Roadrunner golfers following a +15, 87 showing in round three. Sophomore Miya Villari followed her teammate with a +20, 92 effort in round three. -
