No. 4 Nationally Ranked Roadrunner Women's Soccer Takes Derby Shield!

The No. 4 Division III nationally ranked Roadrunner Women's Soccer team continues to perform well under first-year head coach Tom Eichhorn.

The Runners picked up a solid 9-0 triumph over RCSJ Cumberland Saturday, winning the Derby Shield in the annual match between the two schools.

Sophomore Ava Pino and freshman Angelina Rodriguez led the offensive assault for the Runners with two goals each while teammates Ryann Foote, Riley Cogan, Brianna Morgan, Jordyn White, and Emily Belsanti joined in with one goal apiece. In addition, Morgan dished out two assists.

Mackenzie Cignatta and Greta Farestad combined for the shutout in the nets, with each seeing 45 minutes of action as the Runners improved to 2-0-1 overall.

Next up for Coach Eichhorn's team is a home match vs. Georgian Court JV in a 4m kickoff.
