The Fall 2025 season ended with two of the toughest losses in recent memory -- but first-year Coach Tom Eichhorn nonetheless saluted his Roadrunner Women's Soccer team for enjoying a truly remarkable campaign.
Afterall, despite two heart-breaking losses to Genesee CC (NY) (two overtimes) and Mohawk Valley CC (penalty kicks) in the NJCAA D III National Tournament, the Runners still closed out the season as one of the nation's top D III teams.
"We endured a lot at the end of the season with the two losses, the brutally cold weather in New York, and the fast turnaround in the scheduling with the games -- but none of it takes away from what this team accomplished this season," said Eichhorn emphatically at the conclusion of the national tournament.
Indeed, no one can argue the point.
Eichhorn's club finished with an impressive 11-4-3 overall record against one of the nation's toughest schedules. The squad was consistently ranked among the NJCAA D III top 5 teams all season. They also captured the GSAC and Region 19 championships while qualifying for a Division III Championship Tournament berth at Herkimer College in New York.
In addition, the Runners produced two Division III All-Americans in Coach Eichhorn's first season in sophomore midfielder Ava Pino and freshman forward Brianna Howard, elevating the program to even more national recognition. Pino, who completed her second season at RCSJ, contributed 5 goals, 12 assists and 23 points while playing solid defense. She will conrinue her career at Stockton University next Fall. Howard proved to be an offensive threat throughout the campaign with 10 goals, 5 assists and 25 points.

Other top players throughout the campaign included goalkeeper Mackenzie Cignatta; forward Emily Belsanti; midfielders Ava Delaney, Ryann Foote, and Riley Cogan; and defenders Allie Blankenship and Brianna Morgan.
Recruiting is well underway and Eichhorn, along with Assistant Coaches Kenyatta Collins and Natalie Pantalone, are excited about next season's prospects.
"We are proud of how these ladies improved throughout the season," said Eichhorn. "We're excited about the new players who developed so nicely during the season, and now we're excited for next season with another talented group of newcomers cominh into the program. We've set high standards -- and we do not want to regress."
