Ashley Engler (Williamstown) scored the game-winning goal and also picked up an assist on a goal by Torre Flynn (Clearview) to help the visiting RCGC Women's Soccer Team rally for a 2-1 Garden State Athletic Conference win over Union County College on Tuesday.

Megan Lord (Glassboro) also had an assist while goal keeper Jenni DeVault recorded six saves to nail down the victory. The Runners fell behind 1-0 at halftime but picked up the tempo in the second half to pull out the important triumph.​

"With a bit of a system shift and some great high intensity, we were able to dominate the second half," said head coach Megan Ruttler. "We got some new players some minutes and had a complete team effort to secure the win."

The Roadrunners, who improved to 9-1 overall, remained at No. 5 in the latest NJCAA Division III national rankings released on Tuesday. Coach Ruttler's team hosts Ocean County College in a Region XIX battle Thursday at 4 p.m.
