Roadrunner Men's Golf has put itself in a position to finish in the top five nationally in the NJCAA Division III National Championship Meet at Chautaqua, NY Golf Course -- and it could happen with a strong showing on the final day of competition.
The Runners, fueled by solid outings in the first three rounds by freshmen Jamie Ciesielka and Cole Geatens along with sophomore Julian Boyer, currently sit in fifth place with 308 points, just 3 strokes ahead of sixth place SUNY Niagara (311).
Ciesielka registered an even par 72 in round three Thursday, the top round from an RCSJ golfer in the national meet under Roadrunner Coach Guy Davidson.
Cole Geatens checked in with a 76 followed by Boyer at 79, and Brady Geatens at 81.
The top five teams are Sandhills, DuPage, Delta, Georgia Military and RCSJ respectively.
In the women's competition, freshman Brynn DiGiamberardino leads all Roadrunner golfers following a +15, 87 showing in round three. Sophomore Miya Villari followed her teammate with a +20, 92 effort in round three.

Round 1 of the 2026 NJCAA Division III Men's and Women's Golf Championships is in the books, with several Roadrunner golfers enjoying solid outings on the Chautauqua, NY Golf Course.
RCSJ's Julian Boyer is the team leader after Round 1 of the Men's Championship match with a solid +2, 75 score. He currently is tied for 8th place overall in the individual standings.
Following Boyer are teammates Jamie Ciesielka and Cole Geatens, with +6, 78 rounds, tied for 24th place overall.
Jake Morgan of County College of Morris is the individual leader after Round 1 after shooting a 2-under, 70 score.
The Runners currently sit in fifth place overall behind team leader Sandhills, Georgia Military, County College of Morris, and DuPage College.
In women's competition, the Roadrunner scores are as follows following Round 1:
Tie 12th -- Brynn DiGiamberardino, +25, 97
Tie 17th -- Miya Villari, +29, 101
27th -- Samantha Sutter, +41, 113
29th -- Ashley Ward, +45. 117

Just 4 seasons ago, the Roadrunner Golf program sent two golfers --Freddie Ramos and alternate Cole Bruner -- to compete in the NJCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships at Chautauqua Golf Course in Chautauqua, NY, marking the first time in decades that RCSJ golfers competed in national competition.
Fast forward to 2026, and the Runners have emerged as one of the fastest growing men's golf programs in the country!
Yes, the success and growth of the program since that point are somewhat staggering to say the least. In 2026, Coach Guy Davidson's Roadrunner Men's team
won their fourth straight Region 19 championship thanks to a team loaded with experience and resiliency. The women's team fielded a full roster in 2026 and qualified as the Region 19 representative to the National Championship meet!
The Runners Men's and Women's teams are now set to compete in the national meet in the NJCAA DIII Men's and Women's Golf Championship, June 2-6, at Chautauqua Golf Course in Chautauqua, New York. Please see the rosters below along with daily schedules and the tee times for the men's and women's championship competition.
The tournament runs from June 2 through June 6 with team and individual champions set to be crowned. Tee-offs are scheduled for 8:30 am daily.
