One of the toughest matchups of the 2025-26 season will take place Saturday in Deptford, NJ -- and Roadrunner Women's Basketball Coach Rich Cooper hopes the Roadrunners are up for the challenge.
It's a battle of two nationally ranked teams as the No. 13 Roadrunner Women's Basketball team looks to win their fifth straight when they host a tough opponent in No. 4 Monroe University Bronx Saturday. Tip off is set for 1 pm. Runners enter with a 13-3 overall record while the Express check in at 19-1.
"This will be a real tough challenge for us as well as a fun matchup," said Coach Cooper. "Monroe has several talented players and they press for most of the game, so we will get a chance to see where we stack up."
The Runners have been receiving solid performances overall from several veterans, including center Shannon Pierman, guard Anna Dipiero, and forward Atinuke Bamgbose.
