Coach Rob Valli on 2026 Season Outlook: "Every Gloucester team earns the right to win championships and protect our legacy. This year's group is as talented as any of the 10 national championship teams we've assembled, but talent alone has never been our identity — development is.
"Last season, nine of our hitters earned NCAA scholarships, and we expect as many as six rookies to be in our everyday lineup this year. On the mound, we advanced six NCAA Division I and two NCAA Division II pitchers from last year's staff. They were outstanding, and this current group is prepared to step into those roles and produce at a championship l
"We're talented, but more importantly we're obsessed with our development — and that combination usually makes for a dangerous team in May."

Alex Apicella's Outlook on 2026 Roadrunner Baseball Season: "It has been an honor and a privilege to play under Coach Valli and represent the Roadrunners, being driven by the process alongside him and my teammates has been the most impactful experience for my baseball career and my life off the field. Nothing compares to the winning culture here and the daily pursuit of greatness, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return for another season and continue contributing to the legacy Coach Valli has built."

Nick Slogik's Outlook on 2026 Roadrunner Baseball Season:  "My experience at RCSJ has been nothing shy of a blessing. Getting to play for last year's team was something special and the memories will last forever. The new season excites me because we have a great combination of returning players and new talent. Our guys have been working hard and we've made great improvements since the fall. Having coach Valli as a coach is definitely pivotal to our success. He knows the recipe to help us win a World Series and he works tirelessly to make sure we're prepared. Our 2026 group is laser focused and ready to chase another World Series."

Bryson Kirby's Outlook on 2026 Roadrunner Baseball Season Playing for a top ranked program has been an unbelievable experience. Having Coach Valli, a respected and highly knowledgeable coach, to help lead us to the next level is very helpful, he is very knowledgeable on what to do in certain positions and how to coach a team to victory. Returning this year, now knowing what the culture is like here I cannot wait. It's a great feeling going out every day with your best friends and expecting to win every game. Also, we have made the goal very clear to get the four- peat done, so it is awesome working every day to make it back to the national championship. All in all, my experience here has been awesome and I am so grateful for everything this has taught me.
