The Roadrunner Cross Country teams competed in Sunday's NJCAA Region 19 Championship Meet at Lancaster County Park (PA) with the women's team capturing their third straight Region team crown and the men's squad placing third overall.

Laney Vecchio, a former Delsea High standout, won the Region 19 individual title along with All-Region honors with a time of 20:05 over the Lancaster County course.

Also claiming All-Region honor was Kayla Ayars, who placed fifth overall with a time of 23:10.

Other top RCSJ finishers included Gabriella Szwed (15th place), Amelia Helkowski (16th), and Georgia Lorenzetti (26th).

In the men's competition, the Runners finished in third place in the team race behind Thaddeus Stevens College and Brookdale CC.

The Runners' Ryne Handley earned All-Region honors with a sixth place overall finish. Sean Gallo and Kevin Profico were also top 20 place winners for RCSJ.
