The Roadrunner Softball ream enjoyed another solid weekend with a doubleheader sweep over host Northampton CC on Saturday in Bethlehem, PA.
In Game 1, DP Sienna Walterson smashed a home run with 3 RBIs to spark a 23-1 triumph. Sophomore Emily Childs emerged as the winning pitcher to raise her personal record to 13-2 this spring.
In Game 2, siohomore Jordan Johnson and freshman Jillian Logeren combined for 7 RBIs to highlight a 14-2 win. Bridget Levandoski earned the win on the mound with three innings of work during the five-inning contest,
RCSJ now has a 20-4 overall record and No. 3 NJCAA national ranking.
"Our hitting in particular has really come together over the oast several weeks, and that's a credit to these players following a few cancellations earlier this spring due to the weather," said Coach Steve DePasquale. "We've also made a lot of progress with our pitching and defense, so we're hopinh this continues as we head toward the playoffs."
