Roadrunners' men's soccer is excited to release their Fall 2019 schedule as they look to qualify for the NJCAA Region XIX playoffs for the fourth season in a row under veteran coach George Hobbins.
RCSJ Gloucester will play a total of 18 games as they look ahead to the Region XIX playoffs in late October and a spot in the NJCAA National Championships Nov. 14-17 at Herkimer, NY. They will open their regular season on Friday, August 30 with a 3 pm away game against Penn State Lehigh before competing in their home opener on Thursday, Sept. 5 vs. Manor College in a 3:30 pm start. The Runners follow with a second home match against Camden County College on Tuesday, September 10 in a 3:30 start.
"The 2019 season will again present a challenging schedule and we look forward to reaching our goal of competing in the Region XIX championship tournament," said Hobbins, whose team posted a 6-6-4 record last season. "We will also be ready to compete for the Garden State Athletic Conference title, and we expect many tough games within the league."
Coach Hobbins will be joined on his staff this season by assistants Stephen Hart, Brian Palangi, Jason Norris and Andrew McNellis.
